Abstract

This research aims to determine prevention strategies to protect against verbal harassment behavior at Palengaan Laok 1 Elementary School through PKN learning, as well as the variables that influence the occurrence of verbal harassment behavior at Palengaan Laok 1 Elementary School. The impact of verbal bullying on students at Palengaan Laok 1 Elementary School and the role of teachers in instilling an anti-bullying attitude at SDN Palengaan Laok 1 through Civics Learning. This qualitative research examines the role of teachers in instilling anti-verbal harassment attitudes at SDN Palengaan Laok 1 through Civics learning. The research subjects were Palengaan Laok 1 Elementary School teachers whose learning was based on the 2013 Curriculum which implemented Character Education in learning. The results of the research show that one way to prevent verbal bullying behavior among Palengaan Laok 1 Elementary School students is to call the two students who have problems, invite them to talk, then provide advice and guidance. Apart from that, students often do not realize that their bullying behavior, such as teasing, including verbal harassment, is a factor that supports the occurrence of bullying behavior at the elementary school level, especially at SD Palelangaan laok 1
