Abstract

Before elementary school children enter further education, English is one of the subjects in basic and provisional education. Children at this level must be taught and introduced to elementary school English so that they can understand and understand English learning well. where English should be taught today. However, it is very important to understand English from an early age due to the increasingly advanced development of technology and science, so it is sometimes difficult to understand it as a basic skill needed for the introduction and mastery of science and technology in the era of globalization. Since elementary education, English language teaching has been facilitated. In this research, the method used is studying library literature; This literature can be in the form of books, journals, or documents. Any data collected is then processed and analyzed thoroughly and systematically in this journal. The research results show that some children still have difficulty using English. In English, vocabulary mastery is more important. The more vocabulary students master, the easier it is for them to learn English.
